2009-2010 State Services Awards

The Brazos Valley Council of Governments has awarded the following funds for the provision of HIV/AIDS services in each of the five HIV service delivery areas (HSDAs) of the Central Texas Planning Area:

Austin HSDA

Four agencies in the Austin HSDA were awarded a total of $531,459 in the following service categories:

Outpatient Ambulatory Health Services $159,760
Mental Health Services $20,000
Health Insurance Premium and Cost Sharing Assistance $62,000
AIDS Pharmaceutical Assistance - Local $20,000
Case Management - Non-Medical $238,699
Food Bank/Home Delivered Meals $8,000
Non-Medical Transportation Services $23,000

Bryan-College Station HSDA Project Unity was awarded a total of $79,861. Services will be conducted by AIDS Services of Brazos Valley, which is part of Project Unity, for the following service categories:

Concho Plateau HSDA San Angelo AIDS Foundation received an award of $64,418 in the following service categories:

Temple HSDA United Way of the Greater Fort Hood Area received $85,538. Central Texas Support Services, an agency of UWGFH, will provide services in the following categories:
